All rooms have full en-suite facilities including bath and shower and are decorated to a very high standard with exposed beams, stripped wooden floors and country pine furnishings. All double beds are a minimum of 5 foot with the majority being 6 foot. Also rooms have colour TV, radio alarms, tea and coffee making facilities, mineral water, fresh fruit and flowers. It is rumoured that William Shakespeare presented his first performance of ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’ on the lawn under the cedar tree in the hotel gardens.

The hotel has 113 bedrooms with private facilities, the majority of which are located in the modern wing, and offer air conditioning, 24-hour room service and many other facilities.

Manor Grill restaurant, with an AA Rosette, provides simple dishes using fresh market ingredients, with a modern English influence. Light snacks are also available in the bar and lounge areas. During the summer months, the terrace offers al fresco dining.

The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen with integral dishwasher, single ovenhobb, fridgefreezer, midi hi-fi system and a utility area with laundry facilities. The lounge has comfy sofas, flat screen TVDVD with a variety of DVDs to watch, a basket of games and french doors leading to the patio.The delightful cottage has a twin bedroom and double bedroom with lovely crisp white bed linen and wrought iron beds. In the bright airy bathroom there is always plenty of hot water, Bronnley toiletries and the bath has an overhead shower. The 200 year old barn near Bath was sympathetically renovated in 2000 and was formerly a hayloft it still retains many of its original features with old stone, vaulted ceilings, and beams. It is set in its own grounds with safe off street parking.

There are 5 doubles, one twin and one single room. The pub offers an informal area to relax with a drink or dine. Menus are changed regularly and include bar snacks, light lunches and a la carte selections. Local ingredients are used where possible. You can relax with a drink by the open fire or in the garden.

Our 2 buildings were originally constructed by William Harold, a carpenter, who built a house and workshop around 1750. In 1871, William Harold III converted the house into a public house and in 1981, the workshops were converted into bed and breakfast accommodation.
