The Marlyn Hotel, has been a town centre hotel and called the Marlyn Hotel since 1815.
Refurbished to maintain all of its original early Victorian character, it offers comfortable and inviting rooms in the heart of the Old Town. A short walk to the RSC Theatre and Town Centre (under five minutes to everywhere) this Prime Central Location is convenient for the theatres, shops and pubs! Chestnut Walk leads down through Old Town to Holy Trinity Church with views down the river to the RSC and Swan Theatres. The hotel, Victorian in style, combines bright modernism with classic elegance. An open plan guest lounge has a real fire with modern leather sofas and free tea and cake to enjoy whilst you explore the town. Teas include, Breakfast, Russian caravan, Morrocan mint, Ceylon, Earl Grey, Oolong, fruit teas, (Bags and Leaf) etc etc. Nice coffees too. All rooms have nice views with two rooms with views of the Shakespeare Institute Gardens and the other four with views of fine private gardens. TVs with freeview in the bedrooms. Included in the room price is a complimentary continental breakfast of Polish and Yorkshire hams, Polish Cured bacon, salami, cheeses (Cheddar and Cambert), cereal, milk, yogurt , fruit juice, tea coffee, salads (Iberian and Russian), preserves, croissant and toast. A light cooked breakfast is also included free, porridge, eggs (fried poached, scrambled) tomatoes and beans. We offer for for a £4 supplement a traditional English Cooked Breakfast, with the finest selection of bacons (back and streaky), black pudding, Cumberland sausage and accompaniments (usually including home made pease pudding). We will also cook whatever you want on request. We do dinner as well, Greek, Italian, Russian and traditional English. There is no better choice in Stratford. The Marlyn is a Late Tea is also available for late arriving guests or those rushing out to the theatre. It includes quality tea from an wide menu, sandwiches, and home made cake or sweet. We also offer free cake and welcome drinks. Our check in is 3pm and check out 11-00 am, but we do our best to be flexible, so please ask if you want to book in early or check out late and we will do our best to accommodate. Weekends offer free parking 15 yards from the hotel. Short stay and free 6pm to 8am opposite the hotel seven days a week. Lots of paid long term parking nearby if required.
Leave the M40 at Junction 15, taking the A46 and the A439 towards Stratford. Join the one-way system, take Bridge Street to the roundabout and then turn left into the High Street which leads into Chapel Street, turn right at the end and it will be Chestnut Walk.
